The flood waters at Capitol City Baptist Church are over 1 meter high. This is creating many problems for our church and Manna feeding center. Please pray for the waters to recede and for God to bring an early end to our monsoon season. This flooding never occurred like this before. It is due to two things: one, excessive rain and two, a wealthy landowner, in a move to discourage people into quickly selling their land to him, built a dam, filled part of a lake, and re-directed the water into the village where our church is located. The authorities seem to be listening to the villagers and are taking measures to stop this intentional act. Please pray. See the video below.

Wow!! I hadn't realized. Has it subsided? Did you shut down for a long time? I guess that you are glad the rainy season should be just about over. Neat video--- it felt like I was almost there! Love you folks and thinking of you as you roll with the punches.
